“Earth has not anything to show more fair!” sang Flanders and Swann (based on William Wordsworth’s poem).
Our common purpose is to enjoy some “transports of delight” by making short(ish) bus trips with Kennet u3a colleagues, admiring scenery while visiting – for example – Bath, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Devizes, Newbury, Oxford and Salisbury. Taking turns to organise trips by researching times and routes, group members can learn together about bus passes, and the mysterious delights of Wiltshire Council’s ‘Connect’ bus services.
Get in touch to join like-minded travellers in boarding buses with confidence (with no concerns about car parking).
